Meet Break Free Pilates Team
Tracey Cawood:
I started out my education and career as a graphic designer, completing a Baccalaureus Technologiae: Graphic Design with Tshwane University of Technology in 2005. However, after working in the design industry for over five years, I felt something was missing. I have always enjoyed Pilates as a student, so I decided to take the leap and make it my full time profession. I completed the Mat course at BASI (Body Arts and Science International) in 2010, and went on to complete the Comprehensive course in 2011. I continued my Pilates education with the BASI Mentor Course in 2017. My love for the outdoors and drive to keep active, developed into a passion for challenging the body – pushing it to new limits and discovering new abilities.
As a Pilates instructor for many years, I have had a variety of clients from athletes to pregnant women as well as clients needing to retrain their muscles from past injuries to anyone wanting to tone and improve their body shape. I strive to meet the needs of all of my clients, with a diligent and systematic approach and a strong emphasis on detail and precision. My focus is to challenge the body to be the best that you can be.
Quinton Cawood;
Being in the corporate world for over 11 years, I realised that I wanted more; I wanted to make a difference, I decided to make a career change and started my journey through Pilates Unlimited, joining my wife in the field of Pilates. The Pilates method can greatly benefit all body types, not only women but men as well. I believe this method is perfect for men as it targets areas that have been neglected (from lack of stretching) and overdeveloped (from overuse). Through Pilates one can understand and correct muscular weaknesses and limitations achieving total balance.
